The Carter Family Band, Ashland, AL
Hiring a band could be expensive, so we just grew our own,” laughs Bryan, lead guitar player, with his wife Kristi on mandolin. The band also includes: Grace, 18, on guitar; Isaac, 17, on bass; John, 15, on drums; and 13-year-old twins Lilly, on keyboard, and Ella on fiddle. The family is rounded out by toddlers, Owen, 4, and Kara 2, their biggest supporters and musical apprentices. To say Bryan and Kristi's lives are busy would be an understatement, but…they wouldn't change a thing! Traveling from their home near Anniston, Alabama, to anywhere they are called to share their message of hope is what God has called them to do. Their latest single on 65/40 Records of Daywind Studios, “I Won't Turn Around,” can be heard on radio stations everywhere, while their performance video for the song is quickly becoming a country gospel favorite on YouTube and Facebook.
“This is the most exciting family band I have heard since the days of the Hinsons and more recently, the Crabb Family. Check out their new video. You will fall in love with this family as we have.”
