The Creative Mind Artist Studio creates original paintings that explore the relationship between place, memory, and story. Working in watercolor, gouache, pastel, oil, ink, and mixed media, our work begins with careful observation, often through shared plein air painting. Standing side by side, we frequently paint the same landscape, each interpreting its changing light, atmosphere, and character through our own artistic voice. Amanda's work emphasizes stillness, reflection, and quiet connection through expressive color and layered texture. Julian's watercolor and ink paintings reveal the stories found within landscapes and abandoned places through subtle layers of transparent color and carefully observed detail. Together, we invite viewers to slow down, look more closely, and discover meaning in the ordinary.
