The Heart of Caring, LLC, White Lake, MI

The Heart of Caring LLC is a woman-owned Michigan small business founded by two nurses, Sue Klotz and Karen Piotrowski, in White Lake, Michigan. After spending years caring for others in healthcare, we wanted to create a business that combined compassion, creativity, and community.

Today, we design and create handcrafted products that encourage self-care, comfort, and joy. Our offerings include candles, bath and body products, apparel, gourmet baked goods for humans and canines, sun catchers, and unique gifts inspired by our signature Hidden Meadow collection. Our designs feature soft watercolor elements, meadows, flowers, butterflies, and hidden hearts that symbolize kindness and connection.

Every product is created in small batches with attention to quality and purpose. We believe that simple acts of caring can brighten someone's day and strengthen communities. Our business was built on the idea that creativity can be another form of caring, allowing us to continue serving others beyond our nursing careers.
