I love old bottles—the intricacy of their design, the durability of antique containers, and stories behind the things they held. Using casting materials similar to those in theater arts, I experimented until I found a way to create molds that recreate their vintage beauty in beeswax.
Because my journalistic side is always looking for a narrative, I've researched the history behind the bottles and discovered fascinating people and human interest stories, which I include on each bottle-candle's tags. When the story lends itself to it, I find a charity to donate 10 percent of the proceeds of that candle.
