TRYING HARDER IN 2013

2013...Some people may think 13 is unlucky. Well we proclaim 2013 will be our best year yet. Country and Southern Rock, with a touch of blues, is our specialty. We have members from all taste in music in our group this year. We have the blues/rocking guitarist Eddie Hodges,like that of Stevie Ray Vaughn, also vocals. Eddie is the band owner / manager siince it's beginning in 2007, out in the music barn, as a jam session. On the acoustic guitar we have Gene Autry Sr. Gene is band co-manager, drummer and vocals, the old slow love songs and the new style of Eric Church and Jason Aldean.. On the drums we have the enomous talents of Gene Autry Jr. He doesn't sing but his rythum will knock your socks off. On the keyboards we have the "Jerry Lewis" & "Hank Jr." influence in Steve Mitchell, also vocals. Next in our crew we have Mike Autry on bass and vocals, similar to zZZ Top and George Throughgood. Mike is a big man with an even bigger thump on his bass. Our newest member is Kris Rose on guitar and vocals. Krise does Vince Gill style songs.
 2013 we are still the house band for the VFW HILL COOPER POST #2417 at 2519 Norlina Road in HendersonNC. Their doors open to the public at 7 PM on Saturday nights. Admission is $8.00 at the door for age 21+. Membership to the dance is FREE. VFW has brown bagging, sells set ups, cold beer, soft drinks, water and snacks. Our 100% live show starts at 8:30 PM. The dance proceeds go to help the VFW support our troops. We are for hire for any type of event. Call 919-497-7178 ask for Eddie for details.
