I am an artist-craftsman, creating books for day to day use and giving to each aesthetic value. My work is utilitarian and the styles and themes of the books I present are intended to spark emotion, nostalgia, and creativity in others. I gather my materials from nature to recycled items. I glean plants from the fields and forests to produce handmade papers, and forage through antique shops in search of vintage ephemera suitable for embellishments. Results range from victorian heirloom quality journals, upcycled antique books into sketchbooks, mixed media artist's journals, wedding guest books, baby books, and vintage photo albums.
