The Rising Gravity Experienceis a band that originated in Carmel, Indiana and was born in the basement of Ashton Dean Gleckman, the band's guitarist. The initial purpose of RGE was to cultivate an environment where young and aspiring musicians could not only learn how to play and perform, but more importantly, to serve as a "think tank" and creative space with the ultimate goal of creating a band that focused on development of original music. Today, they continue to develop their crafts, their friendships, and their music.
RGE's original music fits into the genre of classic rock. However, the interests and background of band members range from punk rock to heavy metal to classical to orchestral Broadway production to jazz. RGE works arduously on preparing a set of "covers", appealing to mixed audiences. Furthermore, the band benefits from being nurtured and directed by some incredibly talented musicians. Perhaps most influential is the musical mentoring of Mr. Preston Nash....a talented and accomplished musician in his own right. The band will release their first professionally recorded CD in the coming months which features 6 original tracks. RGE has also begun the process of working on their next set of original music.

Yamaha keyboards, Gretsch drums, Schecter bass, Gibson and Fender guitars, and a wealth of additional equipment provides these young musicians with the instruments and technology to perform at the best of their ability.
