OMG...this was the show we should have not shown up for. Traveled 4 hours for this show and paid for 2 hotel room to accomodate people from 2 booths. This show was a hoot. We fought the wind all day, the people were poor and looking for flea market items. There were only a few vendors and most of them were locals who make children's hair bows. There were a couple of cheaply beaded (hobby) vendors and a tee shirt vendor. This was a well organized show but then they had so little to organize. Oh yeah, they had a guy with trained chickens who ran a carnival show every hour. They had 2 streets full of BBQ vendors who were there for the compitition (and didn't sell food). The other 2 streets had a scattering of vendors with cheaply made items by hobbyists...argh! This crowd didn't have two pennies to rub together...much less spend. Made rent and little more. We'll pass this one by the next go around.

Thanks to Springtime Tallahassee for a wonderful show April 2, 2011. There was a very friendly crowd who were appreciative of our quality handmade women's apparel and accessories and weren't afraid to open their wallets to show it.  We traveled from Saint Augustine on Friday night, ate pizza in the room and had the front desk threaten to call the "law" on us because of laughter. We arose early, and hit the scene with trailer of goodies in tow. There were plenty of people around to direct us and the setup went without a hitch. The weather was beautiful, the people friendly and even though we were set up on Duval St., we had a steady stream of customers. Young to middle age crowd with many professionals in the mix. A lot of different types of vendors without saturation of any one type of craftsman. Entertainment was awesome with many good local artists. The venue is great for those with quality arts and crafts. The crowd was in excess of 200,000. Good Show...do it again!
