The Sofia Goodman Group is a jazz funk fusion group, led by drummer Sofia Goodman, and is based in Nashville. The group released their album "Myriad of Flowers" in 2018 and it has been streamed worldwide.
Radio host "Wildman" Steve Bronson had this to say after their performance at Alex City Jazz Fest: "The surprise of the night was The Sofia Goodman Group. Excellent band, jazz-fusion fun!" They have performed at notable festivals like Elkhart Jazz Fest, The Alex City Jazz Fest, USM Jazz and Blues Fest, Fort Harrod Jazz Fest, West Georgia Jazz Fest, and Artisphere, as well as many other venues and series. In July 2019, they were nominated for Best Jazz Album by The Nashville Industry Music Awards.
