Come celebrate Archeology Awareness Month in Texas on Saturday, October 24, from 10 a.m. to 3p.m., at the beautiful Berry Springs Park and Preserve, 1801 C.R. 152, in Georgetown. The Williamson Museum and Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department will offer free hands-on activities and the opportunity to visit with archeologists and Native Americans to learn about 13,000 years of Williamson County history. Lunch will be provided free of charge to all participants courtesy of Steger & Bizzell Engineering, Inc. of Georgetown.
