I attended schools in Modesto and Oakdale and have an AA degree from Modesto Junior College and a BA in Public Administration from the Univerity of San Francisco.
I worked for Modesto Police for 34 years and attained the rank of Captain and Interim Chief of Police before retiring a number of years ago.
besides long experience with oils and water colors my artistic background includes creating program covers, annual brochures, posters, sets for Opera Modesto. I created safety posters for Macys stores and backgrounds for photographers and designs for theme parties at Del Rio Country Club.
my latest activity is woodworking with hand painted designs. Currently my work consists of serving trays, recipe boxes, kitchen utensil holders, eyeglass caddies, memento boxes, cutting boards and other made to order designs.
