Self-taught, artist in oil, water color, pen and ink, scrimshaw, Gold & Silver smith, Sculptor in antler and wood, working with Prehistoric Fossils ( Cave Bear 20,000 to 100,00 years old,) Mammoth Ivory.  After graduation had several Art Scholarships, went to Adams State and found not for me ~~ left went to Alaska where I guided and worked horses for an Outfitter who specialized in Barren Ground Grizzly and Dall Sheep. Worked with a Taxidermist and learned more about animal Anatomy. Worked cattle in upstate NY and met my wife there. married and moved back to Colorado where we have a comfortable home and Gallery in the beautiful San Luis valley ~ Largest Alpine valley in the world, surrounded by 14,000 foot mountains. Raised three daughters, two of which are artists and have their own lines of jewelry. One works with our Wildlife designs and the other forges Copper. We have worked with many wildlife conservation organizations ~ RMEF ~ Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, NWTF ~ National Wild Turkey Federation, SCI ~ Safari Club International, Bighorn Sheep Society  and FNAWS ~ Foundation for North American Wild Sheep. and done there National Conventions in Reno NV, San Antonio TX, Phoenix, AZ and Nashville TN. 2020 will be our 53 year in the business!
