I am currently working on bookings for my own band Chris MacKay & Tone Shifters for the 2011 season. We formed in 2009 and have been receiving great response to our Blues based roots music that incorporates country, swing, rockabilly and swamp as well as our interesting and obscure covers and originals. We consist of Lead vocals/percussion/washboard, Lead guitar/vocals, bass/vocals, drums/vocals. Many people that have seen us mention our onstage interaction and good time attitude as refreshing and exciting.

I am currently planning an East Coast "Double Bill" tour for Rounder artists James Hand and Heather Myles to support the Sept 9th release of James second Rounder effort "Shadow On The Ground" and Heather's current release "Sweet Talk And Good Lies". They are considered country traditionalists internationally acclaimed for thier gritty heartwrenching song writing and performances .We are looking to schedule this tour in November.
