"Building the Farm Tables & Furniture You Dream Of."

Coming from a background of growing up alongside my father as he restored, refurbished, and created antique and period furniture, I developed a passion for the art and design of woodworking.
In 1994 I opened an antique shop and the antique farm tables that I had acquired were never quite exactly what my clients were looking for. They were never long enough wide enough or there was never enough legroom. I decided to create tables my clients had been dreaming of.
This high demand grew into my current business, Tree Spirit Tables. The name Tree Spirit Tables originates from my Indian ancestry. My great grandfather was a full-blooded Mohawk, and the Mohawk Indians looked upon the trees as a connecting rod between heaven and earth. I like to think that I am keeping that spirit alive with my work. And it is my hope, that with each table that is created it will allow my clients to enjoy their own piece of heaven.

Many different choices await you in designing your Farm Table, Desk or elegant Formal Dining Table.
You are the creator in building your dream farm table. All work from length, height, width, color, wood type, thickness of tabletop, and number of boards are hand picked by you, for your furnishings.

Choose an existing design such as pictured in our furniture Collections icon. You may also get ideas from other books, Magazines or other pictures that may be adapted to
meet your Individual needs.
Stop in anytime and rub your hands across our 200 year old planks and let your imagination and dreams unfold.

Both of our formal and country styles are made to suit a variety of taste. French Country, English Castle Tables, Mission, Shaker, and period furnishings are design favorites.

I use reclaimed wood from houses and barns as well as vintage lumber with some single boards as wide as 60 inches, huge slabs, two board tops and highly figured woods are a specialty.

Leg styles range from patterns that I have acquired from retired cabinet makers.

You can have hands on experience when designing your table, bench, cupboard, tables with leaves, tables with company boards, tables with drawers, drop-leaf tables, leg styles, thickness of top, number of boards, color, wood type, height, width and length.

All finishing work on furniture is done by hand. There is no spraying and all of my tables leave the shop with a rock hard finish that will not water spot even after days of leaving a glass of liquid on them. In addition, they are resistant to heat and alcoholic beverages and all this without the polyurethane look. Painted tables are also optional, I use lead- free, old- fashioned milk paint or would be happy to match a paint chip for you. All paints and finishes are child and pet friendly.
