Unique works of art created using seed pod casings from Pindo Palm trees.  When the pod casings have hardened into wood, they are carefully cut from the tree - they are then cleaned, sanded, conditioned and pre-treated to preserve the wood.  I use acrylic paints or stain then cover with several layers of poly-acrylic coating.   I create colorful wall hangings, centerpieces, succulent planters, sailboats, hanging arrangements and more.
