Once upon a time, in a town not so far away, a couple was shopping at their local hardware store, perusing the garden center. During that visit, they discovered what they thought would be a new hobby but turned into so much more.
A few raised beds, some landscaping, and a lot of dirt and fertilizer later, that hobby has turned into a suburban homestead, where plants are grown, harvested, and processed into everyday edibles.
That couple is us - Chris and Laurie Blackman. While we started growing our own food for personal consumption, we discovered a new love for peppers of all varieties! We grow pepper plants from the mild varieties like supermarket style jalapeños to peppers as hot as the current world record holder, the Carolina Reaper.
Quality is our namesake, and our products are homemade, right here on our own suburban homestead.
