I start with a clean dry cotton wick and slowly hand dip 25-30 times. Each dip into the hot wax adds a layer to the candle until it is the right size. This process creates a satin sheen on the surface and an organic feel to the candle. The tiny variations in the surface make it feel like something that has been grown instead of being slick like a store bought molded candle.
