The Vernon Winter Carnival Society has been in existence since 1960, with the first Winter Carnival in 1961. Vernon Winter Carnival is the largest Winter Festival in Western Canada! Our mission is to foster community spirit and promote Greater Vernon BC as a winter destination. Each February over 100 events take place in our city during the 10 Day festival - showcasing our beautiful winter playground to residents and tourists to our region!
