One day I was knitting & thought, I need longer needles to make these slippers. So Bill made me a pair of 18" needles out of oak. He did such a beautiful job all of my knitting friends wanted a pair, so we thought if they wanted a pair mayhaps we can make them & sell them. They are exquisite! Hardwood knitting needles warm to your touch when knitting with them so do not aggravate carpal tunnel syndrome or arthritis.
