Vince Lewis is a veteran Jazz performer, composer and recording artist. Since actively pursuing a solo career he has achieved national acclaim and airplay, as well as outstanding critical reviews in every major Jazz publication. He has headlined Jazz Festivals with Dave Brubeck, B.B. King, Lou Rawls, John and Bucky Pizzarelli, Melissa Manchester, Mundell Lowe and many other world renowned artists. Vince has been recognized every year since 2004 in the Jazz Guitarist Category of "Jazz Inside Magazine as "One of the leading active Jazz Artists." He was the cover picture and feature interview in the Feb 2014 Just Jazz Guitar Magazine, the largest print magazine in the world dedicated to Jazz Guitar and its players. Jim Carlton, author of Conversations with Great Jazz and Studio Guitarists, says "His playing is indicative of the rarefied air of true mastery. He routinely creates engaging and excellent music." Vince was also listed and profiled in the Scott Yanow publication "The Great Jazz Guitarists" published in 2013. He is available as a solo performer or in a duo or trio setting with other various world class musicians and vocalists.
