Visual Arts and Jazzfest(tm) 2014, New York, NY
Now in its 12th year, Visual Arts and Jazzfest(tm) is a 2 1/2 month festival created by artist & curator Gwendolyn Black to provide a vehicle to exhibit works of art on jazz by emerging, established, and master artists to the public at large.
The festival is highlighted by an annual themed exhibition and live jazz performances. It is the only festival in New York City that brings together both visual arts and jazz lovers in multiple spaces and multiple boroughs.
Throughout the festival special planned events include a youth exhibition, panel discussions, an art auction, art workshops, film and dance presentations and its signature kick off event Visual Arts and Jazz Day(tm), along with other planned events.
