Happy Holidays! From Now until the New Year, our staff will have limited office hours. Time-sensitive and order-related emails will take priority; we appreciate your patience! Happy New Year!
I began my professional career as a deposition/freelance court reporter. After 15 years, I suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke. I underwent rehabilitation and 24/7 supervision for the first several years, of which my parents,, ny husband and my aunt, who was an artist, were all my caregivers. She thought I might like to play with some jewelry beads and perhaps begin to learn the basics of beaded necklace design. Stroke recovery takes a loooong time with small achievements. Jewelry design gave me instant gratification! A few years later, I saw pendants designed with wire sculpture, loved it, and after several years filled with MUCH practice and frustration, I make what you now see. I am now 19 years post-stroke and 2021 will be my first entering into art shows. in 2020 I was blessed with 3rd stage rectal cancer and will be a cancer survivor by the end of June 2021! I have the best husband in the world, as he is my caregiver, though he suffered his own life-threatening workplace accident just eight months after my stroke. We are both blessed to get up every morning and this September will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. God is good. All the time! Wish me luck with my shows and I hope you like my pendants. Thank you and God bless.
