Walt has a diverse background in the arts. He graduated from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, New York Institute of Photography and has maintained a studio for over 30 years. Moving to Key West in 1975, his work shifted to reflect the bright tropical hues of the Caribbean. Walt has exhibited up and down the East coast, as well as conducted workshops at the Brookfield Craft Center in Connecticut, Belvidere, New Jersey, and his former studio in Key West. Since moving to Naples, Florida, he continues to do shows and has had his work in the Von Liebig Art Center and the Marco Island Art League. He works in porcelain but has added copper, bronze and exotic woods to create wall sculptures. His work can be found in many collections both here and abroad.
