In my opinion, having a strong sense of community is essential. I strive to be my best, to encourage those around me to pursue their passions, and to give back. It is my hope that through my art I can share my knowledge and provide a place of nurturing for those who desire creative growth; to help form a community that supports the production of the beautiful self-expression we call art.
As a metalsmith I make every effort to create work that is not only aesthetically appealing but that has purpose and meaning imbued in each layer. Having graduated from a program that focused primarily on concept it seems only natural that the pieces you wear should have a story or intention. By being authentic and expressing intention you can achieve just about anything, so why not wear a visual manifestation that also embraces and shares the beautiful inner you.
