Nancy and Caroline began pouring candles in 2019, when a dear friend said "I think you could make candles!". Challenge accepted. The inspiration flame was lit, research commenced, as did the trials and tribulations. One of us is very creative, and the other very 'sciencey' (we made that up) which has proved to be a magical combination for this venture. It's taken over 2 years and a global pandemic to figure out who we are as candle makers.
Knowing we would want to find a way to give back to the community with our business, we chose our cause very easily. Animal Rescue is very dear to us. We currently have Bodhi (woof), Bellatrix, Target & Juno (meows) under our roof. They are the current rtesidents who follow a very long line of rescued fur family members we have loved. We hope to Light the Darkness for animals in need of help, love, a family and a safe, forever home. These are the things that people in Rescue strive so hard to achieve for those in their care. We respect their work, appreciate their grit, and hope to help in some meaningful way, from our small corner of the world.
We do believe Magic is Everywhere, and hope to keep this message going. Magic can be found all around you; in giving, in compassion, kindness and sharing love. Spread this magic. It makes the world a better place.
