I guess I should tell you all how I got into doing mosaics. Well.... After living in The beautiful Berkshires of Massachusetts for 50 years I ended up in Arizona. It wasn't too long before I became extremely homesick and pretty depressed. Phoenix is a HUGE place compared to where I come from.... And for a small-town-girl like me, the thrill of the "Wild, Wild West"wore off REAL fast. Anyways, someone recommend that I take an art class at this place that they knew of. I was hesitant at first... But I liked ceramics. ..So i figured.. .ehhh...what have I got to lose. .. I'll I go paint some stuff. We'll, there I met this very pushy ex go-go dancer that INSISTED I NOT do ceramics at all but join her in doing mosaics. I had NO clue. But not wanting to be rude... I said "sure I'll join you" Well kids. ... The rest is history! 😍 |
