Wills Point is recognized by the State of Texas as the "Bluebird Capital of Texas", and celebrates by hosting The Wills Point Bluebird Festival in April of each year.
The Festival is presented by the Wills Point Bluebird Festival Association, a non profit incorportated in the State of Texas.
This group provides scholarships through the Bluebird Pageants and directly. Additionally, the group continues to educate about the bluebirds located here and provide a fun, safe, family oriented day.
Wills Point is one of the oldest and largest towns in Van Zandt County. It has a population of 3,500 plus. Sitting along either side of Hwy 80 about 43 miles East from Dallas.
Railroad tracks run right along Hwy 80 in Wills Point and the town has a museum in the old railway station there.
The downtown area has a historic look with War Veteran Memorials and our famous brick streets.
The town is crowded by businesses awaiting to offer their products and services to you. Many of the businesses are locally owned and the type of business which built the backbone of this country.
