Wilmington Beach Photography (WBP) is owned and operated by Lewis Venters, Jr. who started the business in 2014 after returning home to Wilmington. Lewis first started photography in 1973 in Wilmington on 35mm and sold camera equipment at Best Products while in HS and while attending UNCW. His studies include many Art and Photography classes as well as a BS Degree and MBA Certificate. His knowledge of both 35mm, Digital Photography and Photoshop are quite evident in his work.
Lewis covers all area beaches from VA to SC including his hometown of Wilmington, NC and the downtown riverfront views. He also travels to Mexico, Hawaii, Asia and Europe and has recently added some stunning Go-Pro wave and surfing photography. All photographs are taken with a full frame Nikon with the exception of in the water pictures taken with the Go-Pro Black 3+ and the new Go-Pro 4. Each photograph is carefully photo-shopped to bring out the vivid colors and details. All photography can be purchased on Museum Grade Canvas in custom sizes up to 8 Feet wide with finely crafted poplar wood frames. Prints are also available in various sizes.
