Ontario's premiere, intimate setting festival for live music.Situated outside the community of Powassan, surrounded by hardwood forests and rolling farm fields, the Windsong Music Festival welcomes music fans that want a unique experience to get "up close and personal" with the performers. Only 200 tickets are sold, so everyone is guaranteed a great seat with amazing sound.
At the Windsong Music Festival, with your admission ticket you are invited to bring your lawnchair, blanket, BBQ foods, beer, wine, juice, milk ... and stay all day to enjoy the music ... and if you want, you're welcome to camp for a small fee. And whether it's sunny or rains, the stage and much of the seating area is protected by large circus tents.
Since 2006, Windsong has attracted an audience from all over Ontario, Quebec and in 2010 fans from the USA and Germany. People who regularly visit the larger festivals (Mariposa, Summerfolk etc.), say that they love the intimacy and “community atmosphere” Windsong offers.
