Hello, my name is Steph Hawkins. I began making my "Wings of Love" after the death of my Father in April 2009. I needed to do something that could help me connect again with faith, magic and freedom of life. I found it looking at butterflies and birds and how they fly so free with beauty and grace. I try to incorporate that magic in my creations.
"Wings of Love” are designed to be a mood lifter. I have found that when I have my favorite colors around me, when I have beautiful things to look at, I am happier, treat other people better, and they uplift the people around me. I look at them like a good luck charm, or a happy thoughts maker. Maybe someone you know has had a rough time and this would cheer them up?
Hang it up from the ceiling in a corner or near a window where you will be able to see it often. It is especially beautiful near an open window, or near a fan which will make it move as if the butterflies or birds are alive. Every time you look at it, you get the feeling of freedom, serenity, nature and you will find inspiration.
