Wyatt Espalin is a songwriter/singer/fiddler from Hiawassee, GA. He has shared the stage with many of his songwriting idols: Amy Ray and Emily Saliers of Indigo Girls, Shawn Mullins, Glen Phillips of Toad the Wet Sprocket, Patty Loveless, Jim Lauderdale, Ricky Skaggs, Chely Wright, Michelle Malone, Jennifer Knapp and more. He has won the NewSong Songwriting Competition at North Carolina's L.E.A.F. Festival and has placed as a finalist twice in the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at Merlefest as well as a finalist in the Songwriter Serenade, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest, Telluride Troubadour and the John J. His haunting songs borrow from the characters and stories that filled his upbringing on the rustic campground owned by his Grandparents who raised him in the mountains of North Georgia.
