Welcome to Wytche Daye!!!
A one day gathering vendors, workshops, and community ritual, celebrating winter solstice!
Join us as we celebrate everything witchy, beautiful, and magical!
We are a family friendly event!
Saturday, December 18th, 10-6pm
Community ritual begins at 5pm
Doubletree by Hilton - Lloyd Center
Indoor event
Make sure to wear your best Witchy garb and we may or may not be giving out some little giftys to the most fabulous hats we see during the day 😉
It's $5 to get in the door, kids 12 and under are free. The Doubletree has parking available in the garage on site and it is really easy to take public transit because we have a bus stop right in front of our event! The hotel also has a restaurant if you are hungry!
WHAT DO I GET FOR MY $5?! You may ask!
Well let me tell you….
At 5 o'clock we have public Solstice Ritual! (Don't forget to bring something for the altar to be blessed if you want to join us, or don't, just know that you are welcome to! Something that you can take back home with you for sure 😉)
WORKSHOPS offered include:
Sarah Cousins - Astrology 101
Aine Sullivan - Winter solstice meditation
Marilyn Elizabeth- Tarot 101
Kimberly Scarfe - Witchcraft & Self-Care, bath cleansing rituals
Alyssa Blackwell- Broom making workshop
Brenda Peregrine- Turning Magick into Money
(There may be another one added to this list, I will update and post the times soon!)
We have the PDX dancing Witches joining us for some really cool performances at 1pm and then at 4:45pm!
We have a crystal bowl sound bath in the morning led by our amazing sound healer friend Phillip Chavez of Clever Fox Sound Healing.
We have a spell station where you can create your own spell and intention bags,& charge them With your own beautiful intentions & manifestations and take them with you As our little gift to you ❤️
We have four altars set up at the main power points of the room - north, south, east, west; earth, air, fire, water. Please feel free to spend a little time at each of them enjoying the energy and to bring something to leave on the altar as an offering if you wish, or you can leave it for a bit and take it back with you, whatever works for you!
We also have a Yule blessing tree! Feel free to pull a strip of fabric out of the basket and write your blessing, prayer or intention on it, and then tied around one of the branches 🎄🎄
We will also have a raffle with all kinds of cool prizes donated by our awesome vendors, more about that as that develops!
Please feel free to also take part in our take a deck - leave a deck table! Trade your decks, art, stones, wands, garb, whatever you like; leave it on the table and then find some thing you like left by someone else to take away with you!
Please be respectful, one item = one item.
Also feel free to join us as we welcome Le Buffana, the Christmas Witch, as she comes to do a little crafty make & take with our younger witches and wizards and brings a little fun & magic to our event!
We'll be posting more about our vendors & readers as we get closer but we are getting totally full and we are so excited to see all of you come and spend your Yule time with us!
