I have been involved with art and the creative process since childhood, in one way or another. I started creating collages since I was a young girl and still think that collages have been the theme of my journey. For me, ”life is nothing but a collage of learning experiences, glued together by destiny and karma.“ Designing Sacred Gemstone Jewelry is another form of collage for me, where I can put together different healing energies and color combinations to create a piece of jewelry that is both beautiful and meaningful. Gemstones have a very special significance for me as I have experienced their subtle healing energies for many years.
I am a lover of ethnic cultures and have traveled to many parts of the world, both East and West. I had previously explored designing silver jewelry in a traditional manner, but now I found the perfect material to create small jewelry collages with the flexibility offered by Precious Metal Clay (PMC).
My Gemstone Yoga Jewelry & Chakra Jewelry Designs are the result of the life long exploration of different careers and paths, including art, music, spirituality, meditation, homeopathy, Vedic sciences and Ayurveda.
My spiritual journey includes Theravada Buddhism and Kundalini Maha Yoga, through which I've had the fortune of meeting realized masters to guide me on my path. I draw from the Hindu and Buddhist spiritual and ethnic cultures to create my designs and I like to incorporate all sorts of symbols into them.
I tend to view some of my jewelry designs as ”jewelry collages“ that can be worn and appreciated for their beauty and uplifting energy.
