The Yosemite Music Festival is located in the Sierra Nevada foothill town of Mariposa, CA, a year-round entrance community to Yosemite National Park. The event takes place at the Mariposa County Fairgrounds.
The festival, in its 16th year, was originally located at the Carter Ranch in Mariposa and was called Carter Ranch Music Festival. In 2013 the festival was relocated to a permanent location in town and was renamed to avoid confusion with the location change.
