Artisan Markets is owned and operated by Lexi, a handmade jewelry artist known as The Steampunk Butterfly. She has been presenting her work at fine art festivals, craft shows, and pop-up markets for over ten years. Lexi has attended hundreds of shows over the years, and has connected with tens of thousands of people! She started Artisan Markets to provide a fun and exciting new space for other local artists, crafters, and food experts to showcase their businesses in a public setting.
Lexi has evolved so much in her jewelry making craft, which started off with very simple wire wrapping and bead stringing in 2012. She has since used many techniques including clay sculpting, resin pouring, electroforming, metalsmithing, glass cutting, soft soldering, brazing, and now has moved on to casting her own metals and engraving her logo onto all her pendants with lasers! While using naturally expired butterflies has been the main focus of her jewelry, she still loves to use real watch parts, natural gemstones, and flowers that she grows herself!

Our vision is to provide fun, highly attended shows for unique, handmade artisans, crafters, and food experts in the Denver area. We will have monthly shows that will keep the public's interest without being too overwhelming. There will also be two weekends where we shut down two blocks of downtown Denver to host a larger handmade Street Fair!
Lexi understands what makes a great show work, and is ready to share her years of experience with you!
Advertising each event will be our top priority, utilizing all the social media platforms to get the word out. Booth sitters and helpers will be available at all events, and clear communication with booth assignments will be given at least two weeks before every show. Denver Police will be present at our larger shows, and overnight security will be provided for those events as well. Coffee and doughnuts will be provided to our vendors and helpers during setup and in the first hours of each show.
Your application fees and booth fees are going to be directed towards the better good of each and every show date! Lexi is so excited to host the shows she's always wanted to attend!
