Owners Don & Julie Peterson bring a wealth of culinary knowledge and expertise ‘to the table”. Don’s background includes over 30 years in the food industry, Serv-Safe Instructor’s certification and Certified Chef de Cuisine status with the American Culinary Federation.
Julie’s passion is cooking, and she has designed and perfected many of Jewel of Shavano’s recipes, including our popular homemade “Salsa Roja” as well as our incredible “Julz’ Chili” that tops our tasty ‘Dawgs, Frito Pie and Angus burgers.
