Two festivals in one to celebrate Middle Georgia's folk pottery tradition. Includes pottery show and auction, heritage skills demonstrations on the field and in Old Courthouse, contemporary and antique pottery sales, craft and folk art sales, children's activities, open historic buildings, antique cars and tractors, quilt show, and more. Chestatee Artists presents the 9th Dahlonega Arts & Wine Festival, on May 18 & 19, in the heart of the North Georgia Mountains. The Historic Downtown square will feature quality arts & crafts, free live jazz performances, and wine tasting from local and regional wineries in our Wine & Garden, as well as craft beers. Stay for the weekend in one of Dahlonega's beautiful lodgings and take in the other attractions in and around Dahlonega. This Georgia State Fair will have antique/collectibles, commercial/retail, corp./information, crafts, fine art, fine craft, flea market and homegrown products exhibitors, and 12 food booths. There will be 2 stages with National, Regional and Local talent and the hours will be Thu 5pm-11pm, Fri 5pm-11pm, Sat 12pm-12 midnight, Sun 1pm-10pm, Mon 5pm-11pm, Tue 5pm-11pm, Wed 5pm-11pm, Thu 5pm-11pm, Fri 5pm-11pm, Sat 12pm-12 midnight, Sun 12pm-12 midnight. Admission tickets are $5. This event will also include: circus, magic shows,roaming dinos, continuous live bands on 2 stages, 4-h activities.
