Here's info from our FAQ page on why we list last year too!
Our members have requested that we include events that have not been updated because the old information is usually still useful, even though you need to check for current dates and contacts. When you are trying to fill a certain weekend, events with old info are better than no event at all.
With over 24,000 events in our database, it is a unique challenge maintaining event updates. We make an intensive effort to get event updates and contact every event in our database 2 to 11 times a year by email, fax and snail mail, requesting updates. But, the event sponsors often will not respond to our many requests. We also constantly research other available sources to cull any available current data.
