Does anyone else feel that entertainers and performers are the red-headed stepchildren of FestivalNet? Very often the "Entertainment" line of an event listing talks about what kind of music they look for. Sometimes under "Other" they'll list magicians, jugglers, etc. Even the newsletters break down into four categories: Promoters, Artists & Crafters, Musicians, and Food Vendors. Nothing for entertainers!?
I wish FN would distinguish between musical and non-musical entertainment. Many events say they want "entertainment" and you find out it's a music-only event. It wastes my time to apply to them, and wastes their time to hear from me.
FN, please make a clear distinction between performers and bands. We are not the same.
