Howdy friends and neighbors - I left the joys of being a food vendor to return to the corporate world a few years ago - and have recently decided to throw my corporate latter in the trash and return the fabulous world of vendorsville!!! Can anyone provide me any and all information on pop-up food/beverage tent vendors? I’m really looking for the health department and legality information and requirements. My biggest obstacle right now is myself- I’m not sure what I want to do - foodwise, that is! Previously, I was cooking/selling shrimp and lobster, I’m not sure if I can do that at the moment or if I want to - economically speaking - but I would definitely like to get back to what makes me happy, being a food vendor. Any information on what staple requirements you’ve come across would be greatly appreciated. I’ve dismantled my previous pop-up business and I am completely starting over, the only thing I’ve maintained is my food service managers certification (ServSafe) and CPR/FirstAid certification. I am basically starting over, what are your recommendations and again, information on legality requirements, including authorizations and permits are key interests!!! Thanks all =)
