Friday, April 29, 2011 04:01 pm EDTHi, Just starting out. Spoke with 1st national processing today. Like what the rep had to say. Has anyone used this company for credit card processing? If so, do you like the product and customer service? Blessings.00000
Wednesday, May 11, 2011 12:51 pm EDTI have not used them, I use Intuit GoPayment.Com. No monthly fees - free card reader and uses cell phone. 2.70% if swiped and 3.70% if keyed. I have had no problems with them and received the money in my account within a couple of days.00000
Friday, May 27, 2011 01:02 pm EDTi really appreciate the information about credit cards. i'm just starting out and want to accept credit cards but i didn't want to have to give the money i made accepting them back to a bank. i am going to check out "gopayment.com" and will probably join because of the information you (reyerware) have given. thanks again.00000
Tuesday, May 31, 2011 11:41 pm EDT1st National does not tell you all the facts. They leave out some of the details. Also, Intuit has had security risks with their swiper. Go to google and type in Verifone and the square card reader and you will see what I mean. There rates at 2.70 are high. I got setup with anther company which had a better deal and their rate was 1.69%. and had a Free swiper you can use with your cell phone.00000
Tuesday, June 7, 2011 09:43 pm EDTFunnygirl, could you give us the name of the credit card company you got setup with? Thanks.00000
Wednesday, August 17, 2011 05:06 pm EDTHere is a website where you can compare all the companies and choose the one that is right for you. http://credit-card-processing-review.toptenreviews.com/mobile-credit-card-processing/00000
Sunday, August 28, 2011 12:25 am EDTHow do you handle being in a weak signal area? I was unable to log into GoPayment recently because the signal was too weak to connect and the server timed out. Do you take the card on faith and get the authorization later or just decline the sale?00000
Monday, August 29, 2011 11:08 am EDTGood question, I posted it to the FNO facebook wall to get more feedback.00000
Thursday, September 1, 2011 07:21 pm EDTI am so glad I got on here today because I am trying to decide on whether or not to except credit cards and this is very good information.00000
Friday, September 2, 2011 06:16 pm EDTHello, I represent a great CC Processing product called "PhoneSwipe". It's backed by a processor that's been in business for 20 years and has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. It offers $0 Monthly Fees, 2.69% +$0.19 per swiped transactions and $0 PCI Compliance fees. You only pay for the service when you use it. My FestivalNet profile is at: www.festivalnet.com/phoneswipe00000
Tuesday, September 20, 2011 10:51 pm EDTI got a square card reader because it sounded like a great deal. I was at 3 craft fairs this summer and couldn't use it at any of them because there was no wi-fi available. I'm afraid I'll have the same problem with many of these services. I have an iTouch gen 2, (not a phone). I can get then internet so long as there is wi-fi, but otherwise I can't. Can you help me understand which of these services would work for me? Thanks for the great links reyerware, it's all just a little much for me to absorb. I need the easy-reader version. :)00000
Saturday, September 24, 2011 08:31 am EDTHow about Gift credit cards?00000
Sunday, September 25, 2011 05:54 pm EDTDonnajo22, have you considered getting a smartphone? At least then, you can use a 3G signal (if available) to get on the internet instead of relying on wi-fi only. It seems to me it would be hard to find a wi-fi hotspot unless the show supplies one (?).00000
Thursday, November 17, 2011 03:22 pm ESTHello All - some questions on above comments: 1. Funnygirl, what company are you using? 2. Juliebird, what was the reaction from your posting to FB? Thanks, Ona cinderlage@yahoo.com00000

Tuesday, June 26, 2018 08:48 pm EDTI use my bank merchant device that gives me a flat rate of 1.50% for all swipe and not sure if any more per key. Their Poynt device is high encryption (very safe) I run my secure hotspot for wireless. It is a lease of $67 per month, but averages to most others that charge higher % per swipe/key. USBank / USBancard Corp. offers this. I use MAXX battery to charge up to 8 devices per day.00000
Monday, January 7, 2019 08:44 pm ESTIf you are a crafter that doesn't shows every month. I would not go with a bank. Going with Square (we usee) and intuit would best or even an another internet base product. Usually going through a bank you have to for it even the months that you don't have shows.00000
