How I set up QR payment signs for my booth (and a tool I made for it)

A few things I learned making scan-to-pay signs for market tables:
1. Use a static QR that holds your real payment link. Many free QR sites route the code through their own redirect and later charge to keep it working.
2. Write what happens under the code, like "Scan to pay with Venmo", so people know what to expect before they scan.
3. Scan the printed sign with two different phones before the show, and again whenever you change the link.
4. Put it at eye level near where you stand, not flat on the table.
5. A sheet protector or an 8.5x11 frame keeps it readable in wind and drizzle.
