A real hippie from the 60's, I got my love for art from the artists that lived nearby in Woodstock, NY. I would go to art shows that featured so many wonderful and talented people. At that time, I decided my soul needed to express that same creative path. Now in my 60's, I live in Florida and love the surroundings. Nature here is inspiring and cries out to be painted. Having an "I want to paint on something other than canvas" moment, I decided to paint on old wooden windows. I still enjoy painting on glass as I can get a dimensional look and will continue to use this medium. But after many years of my business "Great Panes", I have decided to tackle canvas and the response has been wonderful. Hope you agree.
