Hobbs the Band
“I just try to prepare myself to have as many tools as possible in terms of my technical ability," says Hobbs Magarét. “The songs write themselves. I'm not the source of the creation. I'm just sort of the conduit."
Hobbs Magarét and Patrick Pearsall recognized the musical chemistry instantly. Hobbs, a Texas Panhandle guitar player, and Patrick, a left-handed Seattle-raised bassist, immediately added Central Oregon native and drum set phenom, Kaleb Kelleher, to the team and went to work reinventing blues rock as Hobbs the Band in Sisters and Bend Oregon. After smashing success at their debut performance during the 2012 Sisters Folk Festival, Hobbs the Band frequently performs concerts in Bend. They moved their headquarters to a retrofitted warehouse in the Sisters Industrial Park where their post-industrial blues rock burns up concerts in Sisters and Bend Oregon.
