My name is Beth Saunders. I have always loved to draw every since I can remember. I began taking art classes in junior high while I lived in Melbourne Florida. Attended Mars Hill College in the mountains of North Carolina in 1971. There I majored in art for year-and-a-half. There was a period in my while I was raising my children I had to put my drawing and painting on the back burner. About 9 years ago I began painting and drawing again. I sold several of my pieces to different ones. About 3 years ago I became a member of the Red Dog Gallery in Winston-Salem North Carolina. I sold several pieces during this time period. The curator of the gallery purchase one piece which made me feel honored. I don't think I have a certain style of art. I enjoy working with different mediums and have a wide variety of subjects. One subject people particular seemed to enjoy our paintings of their pets. I have done pretty well with these.
