Hi! I'm Kathy Buskett, a professional caricature artist with 27 years of experience entertaining guests at festivals, community events, corporate events, parties, schools, libraries, weddings, and celebrations throughout the Gulf Coast and beyond.

Caricatures are a fun way to give guests something to DO at an event, and there's almost always a crowd gathered around watching the drawings take shape. People laugh, compare their pictures, bring their friends back, and leave with a personalized keepsake to take home.

One of the biggest benefits I bring to large events is SPEED. I draw approximately 25–30 faces per hour, which means more guests get drawn and lines keep moving. After 27 years of drawing professionally, including 10 years working with the crowds in Las Vegas, I'm very comfortable with busy events and guests of all ages.

And my caricatures are FLATTERING!

My background is in fine art, and my style is a fun combination of portraiture and cartooning. I want people to laugh when they see their drawing, recognize themselves immediately, and actually want to take it home and keep it.

For sponsored events, custom pre-printed paper can include your event name, logo, sponsor information, or other branding. Guests leave carrying your branding with them on a keepsake they may display in their home or office long after the event is over.

Guests can also choose from my cartoon body boards, with options ranging from superheroes and princesses to sports, hobbies, professions, movie-inspired characters, and plenty of wonderfully ridiculous choices. Everything stays clean and family-friendly.

I bring a compact setup and only need three chairs, so I can fit comfortably into festivals and events without taking up a large amount of space.

Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy people. I love talking with guests, making kids laugh, drawing families together, and giving someone a little moment in the middle of a busy event when they get to sit down and be the star of the show.
