Our business name is more than just a clever alliteration. “Ocean Otis Jewelry” marries three striking elements that inspired the formation of our company. Our setting in Virginia Beach sits close to the “Ocean”, a major source of our design inspiration. “Otis” is the owner's beloved English bulldog, her favorite companion and stress-reliever. Finally, “Jewelry” is what we masterfully handcraft for our dear patrons.
Jill Colmery is an impassioned artist with a colorful background in design. Formally educated with a B.S. Textile Design along with a B.S. in Interior Architecture, she has mastered the art of combining forms, patterns, and other elements to create one harmonious picture. Her years in design has given her the opportunity to explore various art forms including working with precious metals.
Crafted by a local artist in Virginia Beach, our designs take inspiration from organic elements and bold tribal fashion. Each piece is a heartfelt creation made with the extensive expertise and skills of a seasoned precious metal worker.
