When we began to imagine life after our regular 9-5, a labyrinth of options was conceived. None of them included writing books and creating art, but here we are. Sometimes the universe knows what you need well before you do! The notion of writing a children's book and steps toward bringing the concept to reality was the impetus for our company. It wasn't until a trip to Philadelphia where we visited amazing museums that we began to envision both book publishing and art together. Our vision turned toward harnessing talent and collaborating on the inspiration we had right in front of us. Again, seeing the potential in what we had, recognizing what was needed, and building up the people around us. We want our future to be full of shared successes with our family.  We can either complain that our children are obsessive with screens or we can provide them with alternatives. We can be disappointed by the state of politics, or we can find a platform to change the narrative. We could use our retirement as a reason to fade into the shadows, or we can enjoy the beauty of the time and space it affords. We choose the latter in each case. We launched Storybook Studio in April 2025 for these purposes.
