I have been an Artist all of my life. My father, who was a jewelry designer in Manhattan would often take me to his shop. It was riveting to watch him pour molten gold into his molds. I studied Art for two years at Hunter College in NY, until I moved to California. There I fell in love with etching at Santa Monica Community College. Two years later I had an agent and multiple venues for my work. For the next twelve years I made a good living from my etchings and monoprints. When my son came along I swtched to silk painting for several years since I could do it from home. After my divorce I decided to go mainstream and find a normal steady job. That was a huge mistake, however I always made art on the side. Finally retired, the only thing I want to do with my life now, is make art and finish writing my two novels. Making Art makes me happy.
