I am a writer and educator, but have been in love with handmade things since early childhood. I made my own dolls, their furniture and much more. Then I started designing my own clothes, learned to knit, crochet and embroider in the elementary school and never stopped doing it for fun, gifts to otyhers, my own use and later my daughter and grandchildren.
Jewelry making I started long time ago, as a child, from simple material but creative use and design of seeds, paper and other materials, then pearls and beads. I love natural materials and use them over synthetic, plastic and such. I have been a good artist as a child and student, encouraged by teachers to make it my career, but I studied many things (like music, art, literature, etc) to be able to appreciate and understand them more. I dedicated most of my time to those that were my passion (writring, reading, singing, dancing, arts and crafts...design of various things). My friends call me a renaissance woman, but I don't think so. All children are creative and if we keep the child in us alive, we will develop into a person whose life is richer and more fascinating. All we need to be happy and enjoy life is already in us.
